VoiceThread is a collaborative, multimedia slide show that holds images, documents, and videos and allows people to leave comments in 5 ways - voice, text, audio file, or video. Users can also doodle while commenting.

VoiceThread is amazing. I've used it for cross-time-zone "meetings," for university class online discussions, and I've seen many primary and secondary school teachers use it for building collaborative reports.
